Announcing the Inaugural Portland Coffee Festival
Roast magazine is thrilled to announce the launch of the inaugural Portland Coffee Festival (PCF), scheduled for October 4, 2025. The festival will be held at The Redd on Salmon Street in Portland, Oregon. This event promises to be an enriching experience for coffee enthusiasts and industry professionals alike, immersing attendees in the vibrant coffee culture of the Pacific Northwest.
Sponsored by Pacific Foods, the Portland Coffee Festival will feature a variety of interactive experiences and educational workshops aimed at expanding participants’ knowledge and appreciation of coffee. Attendees can look forward to engaging coffee tastings that showcase a diverse range of roasts, innovative brewing methods, and specialty blends. Additionally, the festival will include roasting demonstrations highlighting the intricate science and artistry involved in coffee roasting.
Food will also play a significant role in the festival, with various artisanal pastries, gourmet sandwiches, and savory snacks available for pairing with coffee. Furthermore, attendees will have the unique opportunity to connect with the farmers and roasters responsible for their favorite brews, gaining insight into the coffee journey from seed to cup.
The Portland Coffee Festival will take place immediately following the highly anticipated Roast Summit, a two-day educational event set for October 2-3, 2025. Sponsored by Diedrich Roasters, the summit is designed to bring coffee professionals together for an immersive exploration of the art and science of coffee and roasting. Attendees can expect insightful discussions, expert-led workshops, and invaluable networking opportunities with leaders in the coffee industry. More details about the event program will be announced in the coming months.
