Littlefield, Texas-based Select Custom Solutions Southwest was recently honored with the 2025 Breakthrough Award for Ingredient Innovation by Dairy Foods and the American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI) for their ImmuniGen supplement. The award was presented to Michael Homewood, general manager of Select Custom Solutions Southwest, and Steve Cooper, vice president of Business Development at Select Milk Producers, during the ADPI Annual Conference in late April, by Dairy Foods Publisher Doug Peckenpaugh.
Select Custom Solutions Southwest, a part of the MHF Group Holdings network, specializes in manufacturing ImmuniGen, a premium colostrum-based immune and gut health supplement. This innovative product is designed to support immune defense, gut lining integrity, and nutrient absorption, making it a powerful ally for overall wellness and performance. Homewood explained, “We’ve positioned ImmuniGen as a market leader by combining scientific formulation, superior sourcing practices, and clean-label transparency, responding to consumer demand for functional products that are effective and trustworthy.”
The recognition for Select Custom Solutions Southwest goes beyond meeting consumer needs. In a short amount of time, MHF Group Holdings expanded its processing and packaging capabilities with the addition of the dedicated Select Custom Solutions Southwest facility for ImmuniGen. This investment included the integration of state-of-the-art equipment and a proprietary drying and agglomeration process, enhancing efficiency, solubility, and more.
The Breakthrough Award for Ingredient Innovation is presented annually by Dairy Foods and ADPI. Previous winners include Idaho Milk Products, honored in 2024 for their IdaPlus 1090 protein used in ready-to-drink beverages. Publisher Doug Peckenpaugh emphasized the importance of innovation in the dairy ingredients industry, stating, “Innovation is the lifeblood of the dairy ingredients industry.
