Palermo’s, a leading pizza manufacturer, is embarking on an exciting expansion project to increase its production capacity. The company is constructing a state-of-the-art 200,000 sq. ft. production facility in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This new facility, strategically located just three miles from the company’s headquarters, will be dedicated to pizza production and is expected to create 50 new skilled labor positions.

Giacomo Fallucca, the CEO and chairman of the board for Palermo’s, emphasized the company’s commitment to keeping market competitive jobs local by investing in domestic growth. He stated, “Our priority is to keep market competitive jobs local and that means growth at our company headquarters on Canal Street in Milwaukee, continuing to increase capacity at our recently added Jefferson, Wisconsin facility, and now the development in West Milwaukee. The 50 new positions we will be creating are skilled labor roles which require specific training and are key roles in our manufacturing process. They are in line with our current manufacturing positions and provide market competitive wages.”

In addition to the expansion in West Milwaukee, Palermo’s has also initiated a project to expand the parking lots at its company headquarters on Canal Street in Milwaukee. This move is in response to the recent growth the company has experienced and the increasing needs of its employees. Angelo Fallucca, president of Palermo’s Pizza, explained, “The parking lot expansion helps us address the needs of our current employee base, which has grown to provide jobs for over 1,200 people. This expansion sets us up for future growth opportunities at our headquarters on Canal Street. We continue to see demand for our pizzas increase and are being proactive to meet future needs.”

The development and construction of the new production facility in West Milwaukee is being carried out by a team of experienced firms, including The Dickman Company, Briohn Builders, and Excel Engineering. The groundbreaking for the project took place in August 2024, with an expected completion date of June 2025. This expansion project represents a significant investment by Palermo’s in its future growth and the local community.

Overall, Palermo’s expansion project demonstrates the company’s dedication to innovation, quality, and growth. By investing in new production facilities, creating skilled labor positions, and expanding its infrastructure, Palermo’s is positioning itself for continued success in the competitive pizza manufacturing industry. With a focus on local job creation and market competitiveness, Palermo’s is committed to meeting the evolving needs of its customers and employees.
