GLOBALG.A.P. is poised to launch its next-generation IT solutions on March 1, 2025, a pivotal moment in its ongoing partnership with technology provider Osapiens. This innovative platform is designed to consolidate the management of certification and audits into a single, user-friendly interface. The primary goal of this initiative is to streamline operational processes and facilitate quicker, more intuitive access to certification data, thereby enhancing integrity and transparency throughout global supply chains.

What’s New?

The upcoming GLOBALG.A.P. IT platform will feature two primary systems:

CertifierOS

CertifierOS is specifically tailored for certification bodies (CBs), enabling them to manage producer master data, conduct audits, and issue certificates efficiently. Additionally, a mobile application will be available, compatible with all major operating systems, allowing CBs to perform offline audits with greater flexibility.

Supply Chain Portal

The Supply Chain Portal will empower CBs, retailers, supply chain stakeholders, and the general public to search for a GLOBALG.A.P. identification number, validate certificates, and utilize bookmarking services for easy access to relevant information.

It is important to note that the Certification Body Administration Tool (CB-AT) will remain unchanged during this transition. This tool enables CBs to register and manage auditors, upload auditor qualifications, and enroll in training courses seamlessly.

Transition Process

Starting on March 1, 2025, CertifierOS will be fully operational, taking the place of the existing Audit Online Hub. Users and their respective roles will have been migrated to the new platform, with auditor qualifications linked to the CB-AT. Different user roles will have distinct profiles and specific access rights to ensure operational efficiency and security.

Furthermore, the Supply Chain Portal is set to replace the GLOBALG.A.P. database by April 1, 2025. From this date forward, all certificates will be issued and searchable exclusively within the new GLOBALG.A.P. IT platform, marking a significant shift in how certification data is managed and accessed.
