Argenta reorganizes CRO platform through key appointments to align with strategic goals

Argenta Announces Strategic Realignment of CRO Platform

Argenta, a leading animal health pharmaceutical services company, has recently announced the strategic realignment of its Contract Research Organization (CRO) platform. This realignment involves organizing the CRO platform into two key segments, each under the leadership of experienced Argenta executives. Charley Cull will take on the role of Head of Americas CRO, while Klaus Hellmann will lead as the Head of Europe CRO.

The decision to reorganize the CRO platform comes at a time when Argenta has been experiencing significant growth and expansion in its capabilities. Through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, Argenta has developed a comprehensive set of services including regulatory, pre-clinical, and clinical CRO services. The realignment is seen as a natural progression in enhancing Argenta’s customer value proposition and streamlining its operations to better serve the animal health industry’s research and product development needs.

Charley Cull, who was previously the Head of Product Development Services at Midwest Veterinary Services before its acquisition by Argenta, will now lead the Americas CRO segment. In addition to his new role, Cull will continue to oversee Product Development Services at Argenta. On the other hand, Klaus Hellmann, who served as Argenta’s Chief Veterinary Officer with Business Development responsibilities in Europe and Asia, will now head the Europe CRO segment. Hellmann’s background as the founder and CEO of Klifovet, which was acquired by Argenta in 2021, brings valuable expertise to his new role.

Stephan Kutzer, Interim CEO and Board Member at Argenta, expressed his enthusiasm for the realignment, stating that it will enhance the company’s ability to meet the growing demand for its services in the animal health industry. Both Charley Cull and Klaus Hellmann will join the Executive Leadership Team and collaborate closely to ensure better coordination across the global CRO operations, reporting directly to the CEO.

Overall, the strategic realignment of Argenta’s CRO platform marks a significant milestone in the company’s evolution, positioning it to better serve the needs of its customers and further solidify its presence in the animal health industry. With experienced leaders at the helm of the Americas and Europe CRO segments, Argenta is poised for continued growth and success in the dynamic field of pharmaceutical research and development.
