Earlier this year, a cloud was cast over the festivities, which took place years after the couple broke the news of their engagement in 2020. Last week, Mr Peltz, 80, reportedly filed a lawsuit demanding his £132,000 deposit back from wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba. He claims they were fired just weeks before the wedding because of alleged ‘mistakes’, according to MailOnline. Later, Braghin and Grijalba responded by calling Mr Peltz a ‘bully billionaire’ and filed a counterclaim in a Miami court for breach of contract and ‘interference’ with a business deal.
‘They are also suing bride Nicola, her mother Claudia, and wedding designer Rishi Patel for damages of at least £41,000 plus costs, which could run into hundreds of thousands of pounds,’ the publication reports.
But who, exactly, are the Peltzes, who find themselves at the centre of the drama?
Budding actress Nicola, 28, is best known for her roles in the TV drama series Bates Motel and the Transformers: Age of Extinction film. She already had something of a charmed life, however, long before she made her onscreen debut.
