The Raley’s Companies has recently announced some key executive changes, including the appointment of Paul Gianetto as the new president of Raley’s Operating Division. Gianetto, who has served as the senior vice president of merchandising and sales for the past seven years, brings over three decades of experience to his new role. In addition to Gianetto’s promotion, Natalie Slatter has been named the vice president of store operations for the Raley’s unit.

This announcement comes on the heels of The Raley’s Companies naming its first chief growth and transformation officer earlier in the week, as well as appointing a new senior vice president of product and merchandising innovation. These changes are part of the company’s ongoing efforts to drive growth and innovation within the organization.

In his new role, Gianetto will be responsible for overseeing the performance and growth of Raley’s 119 stores across California and Nevada, as well as the Natomas Distribution operations. He will also continue to lead the sales and merchandising functions for Raley’s. Gianetto will report directly to Keith Knopf, the president and CEO of The Raley’s Companies.

Prior to joining Raley’s, Gianetto held various leadership positions at Ralphs Grocery Company for over two decades, including roles as a dairy and deli director and senior director of non-perishables. His extensive experience in the grocery industry makes him a valuable asset to the company as it continues to expand and evolve.

Meanwhile, Slatter will be responsible for leading the store operations for all of Raley’s stores and overseeing operations solutions and communications in her new role. Slatter, who has been with Raley’s since 1999, has held a variety of roles within the organization, including store director and director of operational excellence.

Headquartered in West Sacramento, California, The Raley’s Companies operates more than 230 stores under banners such as Raley’s, Bel Air, Bashas’ DinĂ©, and AJ’s Fine Foods. The recent executive changes are part of the company’s strategic initiatives to drive growth, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Overall, these executive changes reflect The Raley’s Companies’ commitment to innovation, leadership development, and driving success in the highly competitive grocery industry. By appointing experienced leaders like Gianetto and Slatter to key roles within the organization, The Raley’s Companies is well-positioned for continued growth and success in the future.
