His journey eventually led him back to Mexico to immerse himself in the art of authentic Mexican cuisine before making his way to Naples, Florida. Prior to joining Naples Grande Beach Resort, JC served as the Executive Chef at Café Alfredo, specializing in Northern Italian cuisine.
Throughout his time in the culinary industry, JC has worked at a variety of establishments, from small family-owned restaurants to prestigious golf clubs. He even had the opportunity to work alongside renowned chef Emeril Lagasse at Emeril Orlando. With each experience, JC has gained valuable insights and skills that have shaped his culinary style and approach to food.
As the Executive Chef of Naples Grande Beach Resort, JC will oversee the resort’s diverse culinary offerings, including The Catch of the Pelican, Mantra Lounge, Rhode’s End, Aura Restaurant, Gulfcoast Oasis Pool Bar, Spressi Marketplace, and The Sunset Veranda. In this role, JC will lead the culinary teams, drive creative ideation and programming, and manage the operations of all food and beverage outlets at the resort.
