GL Terminal, a leading integrated logistics service provider headquartered in East Jakarta, Indonesia, has recently made a strategic move by acquiring a 30% equity stake in Envilog, a cutting-edge digital logistics platform that revolutionizes the connectivity between port terminals, depots, trucking providers, and Customs authorities throughout Indonesia. This significant investment was finalized in March 2025 with the aim of bridging the gap between physical infrastructure and digital systems, as stated by Paul Good, the chairman of GL Terminal.

Established in 2020, GL Terminal boasts an impressive array of facilities, including a 17,500 square meter bonded warehouse (PLB), a 26,000 square meter open yard and container depot, and a fleet of 200 trucks. The company offers a wide range of services such as bonded warehousing, reefer handling, domestic and international freight forwarding (sea, air, land), Customs clearance, and customized inland transport and distribution solutions covering more than 82,000 delivery points. This diverse portfolio positions GL Terminal as a comprehensive logistics partner capable of meeting the varied needs of its clients.

Paul Good emphasized the strategic significance of the partnership with Envilog, stating that the digital platform addresses a crucial market demand by streamlining container flows across the supply chain. By integrating Envilog’s suite of digital tools, including Envi-Customs, Envi-Truck, Envi-Port, Envi-Depot, and Envi-Bonded, stakeholders in the logistics industry can efficiently coordinate truck bookings, manage port access, file Customs declarations, and generate digital gate and depot passes. Envilog’s platform is seamlessly integrated with Indonesia’s Ceisa 4.0 system and is currently linked to five major port terminals in Jakarta.

Yanti Agustinova, the Founder and CEO of Envilog, shared her vision of digitizing the container journey end-to-end, encompassing Customs processes, bonded zones, terminal operations, and depot flows. The collaboration with GL Terminal provides Envilog with the necessary infrastructure and strategic alignment to enhance its services and deliver added value to importers, exporters, and carriers. The synergy between GL Terminal’s bonded logistics infrastructure and Envilog’s real-time digital workflows aims to establish a new standard for secure, scalable, and efficient supply chain operations in Indonesia.

Envilog’s current operations in Jakarta and integration with five major port terminals set the stage for future expansion into key port cities such as Surabaya, Semarang, and Belawan. The company also has aspirations to enter regional markets in countries like Malaysia and Thailand, demonstrating its commitment to growth and innovation in the logistics sector.

In conclusion, the partnership between GL Terminal and Envilog represents a significant step towards digitizing and optimizing supply chain operations in Indonesia. By leveraging their respective strengths in physical infrastructure and digital solutions, the two companies are well-positioned to drive efficiencies, enhance transparency, and deliver superior logistics services to a wide range of stakeholders. As they continue to expand their presence and capabilities, GL Terminal and Envilog are poised to shape the future of logistics in the region.
