Australia’s wheat and durum exports in February totaled 2,085,287 tonnes, as per the latest data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The major markets for containerized sales included Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia, while bulk shipments were predominantly to The Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand. Notably, a 52,500-ton cargo of durum was sent to Algeria during this period.
Comparing with the previous year, February 2025 saw a slight decrease from the 2.29 million tonnes shipped in February 2024. Lachstock Consulting’s analysis suggests that Australia is projected to export 2.53 million tonnes of wheat in April, following a volume of 2.39 million tonnes in March.
