In response to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii has launched the Love for LA Initiative to support families and first responders affected by the disaster. This initiative aims to raise critical funds through various means, including the sale of exclusive merchandise and a percentage of all coffee sales for a limited time.

The Love for LA Initiative is grounded in the spirit of Aloha, emphasizing the importance of family and caring for one another. By donating proceeds from exclusive merchandise and 15% of all coffee sales, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii hopes to provide financial support, compassion, and Aloha to those impacted by the wildfires in Los Angeles.

Scott Snyder, CEO of Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, expressed his sympathy for the families and communities affected by the wildfires, drawing parallels to the brand’s experience with the devastating fires in Maui. The success of the ‘Love for Maui’ initiative inspired the company to launch the ‘Love for LA’ campaign, highlighting the importance of coming together as a community to support those in need.

The Love for LA Initiative offers multiple ways for individuals to contribute to wildfire relief efforts, including purchasing exclusive merchandise, participating in the Bad Ass for GOOD program, rounding up purchases in-store, and making direct donations through the company’s website. Funds raised through the campaign will benefit two nonprofit organizations dedicated to providing emergency financial assistance, shelter, medical aid, and protective equipment to wildfire victims and first responders.

This initiative follows the success of the Love for Maui campaign, which raised over $80,000 to aid in recovery efforts after the wildfires in West Maui in 2023. Both programs are part of Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii’s philanthropic arm, Bad Ass for Good, which is committed to turning compassion into action and making a positive impact in communities in need.

Since its establishment in 1989 on the Big Island of Hawaii, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii has been more than just a purveyor of premium Hawaiian-grown coffee. The company’s foundation is built on the belief that community and kindness are as essential as the coffee it serves, reflecting the warmth and care of the Aloha Spirit.

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii encourages its customers and communities across the country to join the Love for LA campaign and support the mission to provide relief, aid, and hope to those affected by the wildfires. By coming together and embodying the spirit of Aloha, individuals can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those impacted by natural disasters.
