Koppert Launches New Limonica Product with Double the Predatory Mites

Tim highlights the mite’s effectiveness in controlling invasive thrips species like Thrips parvispinus and Scirtothrips spp. Exclusively produced by Koppert under the name Limonica, this predatory mite has proven to be a valuable solution in pest management, particularly in low-temperature conditions.

One of the key features of Limonica is its ability to thrive in heavy pest infestations and lower temperatures. The mite efficiently targets thrips, whiteflies, and pollen, consuming various life stages of the pests. Additionally, Limonica remains active across a wide temperature range, from 13°C to 30°C, with the capability to lay eggs even at lower temperatures. This adaptability makes it a superior choice compared to other predatory mites in colder climates.
