JBS’s Brazil-based poultry and pork division, reported a net profit of $2.21 billion. In Q3 FY 2022, it increased by 22.3% compared to Q3 FY 2022 because of an increased selling price of 20% and 2% in volume.
- Sales in the domestic market accounted for 45% of the unit’s revenue for the period sales increased by 8.7% YoY.
- Volumes were stable for the prepared food category with an 11% increase in prices.
- The export market’s net revenues were US$1.2 billion, representing an increase of 36% compared to 3Q 2021, with an 23.9% increase in the average sales price and 9.7% in volumes.
- JBS reported a net revenue of BRL 98.9 billion, a year-over-year improvement of 6.8%.
