Evonik has expanded and modernised its probiotics production capacity in León, Spain, doubling its production capacity for Ecobiol, Fecinor and GutCare.

With a focus on probiotic-based alternatives to antibiotic growth promoters, Evonik aims to provide solutions that ensure animal well-being and performance while protecting human health and meeting the growing demand for high-quality animal protein.

The expansion will enable Evonik to meet the growing demand for its probiotics product line and continue to demonstrate the impact of its solutions on the microbiome, gut function and animal performance.
