Taiwanese shipping company Evergreen Marine Corporation (EMC) has released its 2022 financial results, offering huge bonuses to reward employees for their performance. Financial reports show Evergreen`s consolidated revenue in 2022 will reach $20.5bn.

This total is equivalent to 10-11 times their monthly salary.

Last December, Evergreen Marine also gave its employees a huge year-end bonus equal to 50 months’ salary.

The total bonus for 2022 is therefore estimated at 5 salaries per year.

However, the company has announced that it will distribute bonus payouts according to employees’ individual performance. According to some local media reports, the average monthly salary for Evergreen employees is about $1,900.

This is equivalent to 40 months salary.
