China container export index is up in June
According to the Shanghai Shipping Exchange, China’s export container transport index rose in June.
According to the exchange, the China Containerized Freight Index (CCFI) average rose 3.5% per month to 3,228.37 during the period. The Persian Gulf / Red Sea Services subscore drove growth with a monthly growth of 16.9%, followed by US East Coast and US West Coast services up 8.4% and 6.5%, respectively.
Respectively. CCFI tracks spots and contract fares from China’s container ports on 12 routes around the world, based on data from 22 international carriers.
