Cargill is committing $14 million over the next three years to improve the lives and economic development of smallholder farmers and women-focused entrepreneurs with CARE. The goal is to have a deeper impact and build resilience in rural communities around the world, especially those facing a deepening hunger crisis. Over 60 years, the two organizations have worked together to develop and implement 34 different programs, reaching over 4.6 million people in 13 countries including Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Nicaragua and Indonesia.
