According to data released by COFCO Corporation, China’s top agricultural and food company, it has invested more than $2.3 billion in Brazil since 2014.

As a result, COFCO Corporation has emerged as a significant exporter and processor of corn, soybeans, and raw sugar in Brazil.

In 2022, the company sold 33 million tonnes of agricultural products in Brazil, generating $5.4 billion in sales revenue.

Over the past three years, COFCO Corporation has imported 34 million tons of high-quality Brazilian agricultural products worth $19 billion to China.

The company claims that importing these products benefits both Brazilian farmers, who can sell their produce, and China’s domestic market, which can meet its demand for agricultural products, leading to mutual benefits and win-win results.
